How does the Pillow Menu Work?
At The Kenrick, your comfort is at the heart of everything we do. Each bed is thoughtfully prepared with both soft and firm pillow options, each clearly labeled on the pillowcases so there’s never any guessing which is which.
For those looking for a third option we do have a limited number of memory foam pillows available upon request.
What is your cancellation policy?
We offer free cancellation 72 hours prior to the time of check-in (4pm MDT). The Pre-Paid reservation rate is final and non-refundable. No refunds, credits, modifications, or exceptions are permitted.
Where is the Kenrick located?
We are located at 419 Banff Ave, which is on the main street in Banff, and is just a short walk to the main retail district. It’s in the heart of Banff , yet still offers the peace and quiet you need.
Do you have onsite parking?
Parking is complimentary for all guests, offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you’re driving a car or a smaller vehicle under 6 feet tall, please use our underground parkade, which you’ll enter from Rabbit Street. If you’re in an SUV, truck, or another taller vehicle, you can park in our open-air lot behind the hotel, which is also accessed from Rabbit Street.
Please note that the clearance in our underground parkade is 6 feet. Should you need it, additional parking — both paid and free — is available throughout Banff, close to the hotel.
When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in begins at 4 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM. If you’d like to request an early check-in or late check-out, please contact the front desk and we’ll be happy to check availability.
What options are available for early check-in or late check-out?
Want more flexibility? You can guarantee a 2:00 PM check-in or a 1:00 PM check-out for $75 + tax each. Subject to availability—simply contact the front desk to add this to your reservation.
Is there a restaurant on site?
The Kenrick is home to The Fat Ox of Banff, serving Alpine Italian cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – seven days a week.
Is there a bar onsite?
The Kenrick offers multiple bar options. Guests can savour handcrafted cocktails at The Fat Ox, enjoy wine and beer at Analog Coffee (available until 7:00 PM), or take advantage of Poolbar service at The Nora Pool from Noon to 9:00 PM. For more information, please contact the Front Desk.
What are the hours for the coffee shop?
Analog Coffee is open from 6AM – 7PM
Does the Kenrick offer in-room steam showers?
We sure do! Steam showers are available in the Deluxe Honeymoon Suite as well as the Deluxe King Room with Steam Shower.
Do you accept pets?
No. We do not allow pets; however, trained service animals are welcome and are not considered pets.
Is the Kenrick accessible?
We offer an Accessible Queen Room with extra space for easier mobility and added comfort. Our team is always happy to assist with any other accessibility needs you may have during your stay.
The hotel features an elevator access from the parking garage for convenient access to all guest floors. If you require access from the front doors, please connect with our front desk team at arrival and we will be happy to assist you.
Please note that the Nora Pool area is not wheelchair accessible and can only be accessed via a small set of stairs. Unfortunately, there is no ramp or lift available for the pool at this time.
Our partner restaurant, The Fat Ox of Banff, is fully accessible and includes a ramp at the main entrance, along with a specially designed table that can be raised or lowered for optimal comfort and usability for guests using wheelchairs.
Is the hotel family friendly?
Absolutely, in fact the Kenrick has a number of amenities designed for family stays including Apple Air Play, board games, colouring books, as well as premium family suites with extra rooms and kitchenettes. It’s a family friendly stay, that still feels sophisticated.
How far in advance should we book our stay?
Banff is one of the world’s premier travel destinations, and availability goes quick, so we encourage guests to book in with us as soon as they know their travel dates.
Do you host weddings and events?
We have several private event spaces available for groups of 8 to 75 guests. With delicious food and attentive service, we’re ready to help you plan the perfect event. To learn more, check out our Events Page.
Do you offer a shuttle service to the ski resorts?
Although the hotel itself does not offer this service, all three resorts—Norquay, Sunshine, and Lake Louise—provide pick-up and drop-off multiple times a day directly in front of The Kenrick.
Do you provide a shuttle service to and from the airport?
While our hotel does not currently offer a shuttle service, we highly recommend using The Banff Airporter for your transportation needs. The Banff Airporter runs 11 times daily between Calgary Airport & Banff. Book Now.
Do you have a fitness centre?
While our hotel does not have an on-site fitness centre, gym passes are available for guests. Please contact Guest Services for more information.
Do you have a laundry service?
While we do not have an onsite laundry service there are a couple of different options available for our guests off site.

Dry Cleaning – Professional dry-cleaning services are available through Drycleaning by Dave, ensuring your garments are cared for with the highest standards.
